Sage will be holding a series of poi and staff dance workshops in the Austin area on June 21st and 22nd. Beginner and intermediate poi workshops will include warm-up/stretching with focus on body movements, techniques, level changes, transitions, dancing, and poi moves.

Beginner/Intermediate single staff and double staff workshops will feature various moving techniques including warm-up/stretch, body movement, dancing, level changes, transitions, palm spins, tosses, and contact.

The workshops will be held at Circus Tent Theatre on 6404 Hergotz Ln. in Austin, TX. Visit the “workshop” section of Sage’s site to register online. There is limited space available, so walk-in students will be accepted only if space allows.
