Afrofreque and Kanko at Flamingo Cantina

A few weeks ago, Afrofreque teamed up with local funk – hip hop fusion band Higher Than Why and had Flamingo bouncing for a full four hours. Was an tremendous evening to kick start Austin into Fall. On  October 29th, the band joins Kanko with members of Chahanga Cakewalk to add a little bit of cumbia to the mix of funk, soul, and hip hop goodness. Flamingo Cantina is located at 515 E. 6th St. in downtown Austin. Cover is only $5. Doors open at 9:30pm.
