Mobile Recording… at the Mall?

In an era marked by the explosion of digital communities and users that depend on original images, music, and film to define their online presence, the demand for media creation tools has sparked the innovation of everything from recording software for podcasts to music production software that mimics rack-mount music hardware. If my grandmother were alive, I suspect she be asking for my help to record a video or music track for her MySpace page.

In the next evolution of pioneer technology, Studio One announced that their have hired the Lexicomm Group to launch MyStudio, a mobile video and audio recording studios designed for mall installations.

The announcement comes only a year after the company hired Shelly Yakus, renowned music producer and audio engineer for acts like John Lennon, Stevie Nicks, Alice Cooper, Van Morrison, Tom Petty, Dire Straits, U2, and Madonna.

So, guys and gals, what do you think? Next wave of audio/video technology, or the next evolution of Glamour Shots?
