Journey Into Poi with Sage

After nearly a year of filming, Sage has completed production on the instructional DVD, Journey Into Poi.

Journey Into Poi is an introduction into many aspects of Poi spinning. Although aimed toward beginning to intermediate spinners, there is so much information on this 3-hour DVD that any level can receive something from it.

Sage, the instructor, guides the viewer through techniques, rhythm, style, dance, level and plane changes, combinations, transitions, and many poi moves. She also shares extensive information regarding warm-ups, cool downs, stretches, detailed break-downs of poi moves, fire safety, first aid, equipment, community, and spiritual aspects of spinning. This DVD also offers special inspirational glow and fire poi performances, artistic photos, and awesome original music.

Sage Leading Workshops at FireDrums VI

Sage will be holding workshops and performances, along with other prominent poi performers from around the globe, during the sixth-annual FireDrums festival in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California.
