The 2008 Frog Design kick-off party at the Mexican American Cultural Center was the event of the night for about 6,000 SXSW Interactive attendees who waited in lines that spanned city blocks to catch Grupo Fantasma, members of Austin’s breakdance community, and the Sangre del Sol Fire Troupe. Judging by the amount of Twitter, blog, and video posts that followed the event, I would say that it was a huge success for the Frog Design team. Here are just a few video clips that have rolled in featuring Sangre del Sol’s performance during the party.
Echo’s Fire Performance @ Art Outside Fest

Echo will be performing on March 8, 2008 during the Art Outside Festival at the Enchanted Forest during SXSW. A full line-up of scheduled performers can be found below. Doors for the festival open at 12:00pm. Daytime activities include workshops, art classes, kid shows, and art. Evening activities include VJ Rob Hybrid, The Lovers, and special guests. Admission is $5 during the day and $10 at night. All shows are all ages and BYOE. For more information about Art Outside, visit www.artoutside.org.
