Join Sage of Sangre del Sol and the Austin Enchanted Forest for post-independence day family, fun and food event… Yes, the forest is having their first annual BBQ cook off contest that not only includes your standard BBQ faire, but also vegan and vegetarian options. Yum!
Bands and entertainment include The Nematodes, Jitterbug Vipers, and performances by Sage of Sangre del Sol. And dont forget: kiddie rides on the Enchanted Forest train, and Slip and Slide!

Poi & Staff Workshops with Sage
June 10, 2008
Sage will be holding a series of poi and staff dance workshops in the Austin area on June 21st and 22nd. Beginner and intermediate poi workshops will include warm-up/stretching with focus on body movements, techniques, level changes, transitions, dancing, and poi moves.Beginner/Intermediate single staff and double staff workshops will feature various moving techniques including warm-up/stretch, body movement, dancing, level changes, transitions, palm spins, tosses, and contact.
The workshops will be held at Circus Tent Theatre on 6404 Hergotz Ln. in Austin, TX. Visit the “workshop” section of Sage’s site to register online. There is limited space available, so walk-in students will be accepted only if space allows.
Ararat & KOOP Solstice Party with Sangre del Sol

Fairy sprites, nymphs, gods and goddess emerge from their cubicle confines to celebrate Ararat Mid-East Fusion and KOOP Radio’s sizzling Summer solstice party on Saturday, June 21st, 2008 from 6pm to midnight. Sage and Bryan of the Sangre del Sol fire troupe will be performing at 10:00pm. Event will be held at The Enchanted Forest.
