Bio: Laura Scarborough – pianist vocalist composer producer multi-instrumentalist musical adventurer has been performing locally and abroad for 7 years. Voted #5 in this years 2005 Austin’s Music Poll Top 10 Keyboardist List, many have seen her frequently run performances on Austin Music Network with her former band Laura Scarborough Project.

Her endeavors have included producing multi-media events – WAVELENGTHS [2002] SYNESTHESIA [2003] ART OF SYNTHESIS [2004] and writing / performing music for dancers including fire troop Sangre del Sol, Chitlin in Grits Partner Acrobatics, Scandalicious Burlesque, 2004′s Stillpoint Dance show, and score for 2008 Quixotic Fusion.

Laura spends most of her current time developing eklectronik project LilA’s MEDiCiNE – also voted #5 this year for Austin best electronic/DJ Music. She teaches piano, writes, records, produces, performs, and continues to hone in her web and other technological skills…

Sangre del Sol’s hula-hoop mistress Laura Scarborough is featured in the 10/18/07 edition of the Austin American Statesman for her hula-hoop inventions and contributions to this year’s Maker Fair.
